“ I had not been to Garcia's in decades, but we stopped here to get out of the rain during an ill-fated day of boating on Saturday. The plan was to just get drinks and wait out the rain, but we were too tempted by stone crabs and fish dip! We had a group of 10 spread out among 3 tables, and the wait staff did a great job with the chaos! Our table ordered Bloody Marys and Yeunglings. We next had large stone crab claws, which were out of stock, so they subbed extra large, the fish dip, a lobster bisque and grilled calamari. I'm neutral on stone crabs, so I guess they were fine. IDK, they are not really my thing. The fish dip and calamari were EXCELLENT! The only ding was that their credit card reader will only split the bill 3 ways. We sorted things out by just having one person put the tab on his credit card and we all gave him cash afterwards. In all, it was a nice break from a windy, rainy day on the water! ”

“ Very pleasant visit to Garcia's Seafood. We arrived by boat (via the Miami River). Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. Portions were mostly adequate sized. A bit pricey but this is a premium location on the river and accessible by boat with outside seating overlooking the water - so you pay a little more for that. Decor was cool. Service was attentive. Could use more craft beer and selections. We had a nice time. ”

“ This place is an institution in the seafood scene. Located right on the Miami river, you can enjoy your food while watching boats go up and down the river. Yes in the summer, the outside can get stifling but they also have indoor seating so no worries. Service was very friendly and professional and the food is consistent. ”

“ So it's definitely not a brunch spot but It was actually a really good seafood spot. You walk into the fish market and head to the back where the picnic style tables are on the dock. It's NOT a big place! It was quaint and for about 50 people. Service was great and it's one of the only places that don't charge any additional fees or tip! We did have mimosas (but no pitcher or bottle deal), shared scallops, conch fritters, crab cake (was a litttttle dry), and lobster Mac and cheese! Everything was made well and tastes fresh. The Mac and cheese was fire!! It's a must have. We split the bill 3 ways and it came out to About 88 just for me. But considering I left stuffed and satisfied, not bad at all for a seafood restaurant! ”

“ I have been going to Garcia's for years and it never disappoints! It is DELICIOUS! It is seriously one of my favorite spots for seafood in Miami! No gimmicks, just great food!! The staff is always so nice and makes you feel at home too. Our server was so attentive. I am sad I forgot his name. If it is nice out, be sure to sit outside to catch all the boats on the river! Everything is seriously so tasty and fresh here so you cannot go wrong. Some of my favs are the smoked fish dip, octopus, and be sure to try some lobster. The fried scallop was also amazing! Even all their side dishes are top quality. I cannot wait to be back! ”

“ This place is a hidden gem! I saw it featured on the travel channel and decided to check it out the next time I was in Miami. I spent a lot of my childhood between Miami and the Bahamas. One thing I miss about living there is the great food choices. I however had never tried the crab claws before but wow were they yummy! So much food that I was able to charge with my family. The calima as we call calamari was nicely fried not greasy and a good portion size. The coffee was yummy and the deserts were amazing! This is a spot that I will return to again whenever I am visiting family in my second home. One suggestion: use the valet parking. It's not pricey and it's less stressful than locating parking. Sitting outside is also a great suggestion: the view is lovely! ”

“ Omg I had the best time here sitting by the water on a sunny day watching all the boats ride past. We had the best seafood here. Pasta and calamari & a few shots. The restaurant isn't fancy but the food is delicious! ”

“ Great spot! We sat by the bar and Josh was our waiter/bartender. He was so helpful! Gave us tips on what to order and what's in season. He even made the best raspberry mojito. Tip: get the swordfish if they have it . My god they know how to cook up a fresh catch. ”

“ You ought to dine at Garcia's if you happen to be in Miami! The food is all fresh and delicious! Beautifully presented as well. We enjoyed everything we ate at this place. No leftovers! You get a great view when you sit at the balcony. You'll see the river, the boats and the lovely people in them, and the sky as it changes color as the sun sets. The rustic, nautical decor adds charm to this place. You enter through their seafood bar/market, climb a set of wooden stairs and have the option to sit indoors or at the balcony. It's a chill, laid back place. The staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't like how my main course was cooked and they gave me a new one without much ado. They also asked whether i wanted to order something else free of charge. Excellent food, service and views! ”
